The logs that are kept of chat activity exist for the purpose of troubleshooting and improving the functionality of the bot, firstly by providing a record of events used to diagnose unexpected behavior in the bot, secondly by allowing the developer of the bot to see how the bot is being used in order to implement improvements, and thirdly by saving data to be used later as part of the functioning of the bot, such as the streamer�s channel ID or records of tippers, as appropriate for the bot�s function.
